Man shot – Bass Hill
Sunday, 08 Nov 2009 05:28amA man is in hospital after being shot several times while sitting in a car in Sydney’s south west this morning.
About 1am a man was sitting in the front passenger seat of a car in Australia Street, Bass Hill, when a second vehicle allegedly pulled up behind the vehicle he was in.
Two males got out of the vehicle, approached the driver’s side and removed the driver. The second male approached the passenger and fired several shots.
The passenger received several gun shot wounds to his upper and lower limbs.
The 37-year-old man was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene has been established and inquiries into the incident are continuing.
