Charges have been laid after a man allegedly committed acts of indecency in front of a woman on a train and teenage girls on a bus earlier this year.

About 8.30am on Sunday 12 March 2017, a man sat near a 29-year-old woman on a train, between Wynyard and Chatswood Railway Station, and allegedly committed an act of indecency.

About 9.45am, the same day, police will allege the man followed two 13-year-old girls onto a bus at Chatswood, and exposed himself before getting off the bus in Frenchs Forest.

The incidents were reported to police and an investigation commenced.

About 3.30pm yesterday (Thursday 18 May 2017), a 39-year-old man was arrested at Surry Hills Police Station.

He was refused bail and is due to appear at Central Local Court today (Friday 19 May 2017).
