What do I do if I find my stolen property?

If you report property stolen and for some reason find that it is not stolen, it is important to inform the NSW Police Force so the police report can be updated. The most effective way is to contact the Police Assistance Line on 131 444 so your report can be updated.

If you have located your stolen property at another location or in possession of another person do not approach that person. Contact the Local Police Station in the area of the property where you found it.
