Law Week was established in New South Wales to promote greater understanding within the community of the law, the legal system and the legal profession.

Law Week events provide numerous learning opportunities for every member of the community and the legal profession in what is generally considered to be one of the best legal community education programs offered annually.

The NSW Police Force is a stakeholder and active participant with a representative on the law week board and planning committee.
