Marine Watch
There are currently four active Marine Watch groups in NSW. They are located at Manly and Middle Harbour; and to the north of Sydney, in Pittwater and Brisbane Water.
The Marine Watch concept is based on the people involved in the marine environment looking out for and looking after each other. Boat owners and/or people who live near the water keep an eye on things and report to the NSW Police Marine Area Command on 1800 658 784, if they see anything suspicious or unusual.
If you are interested in joining a Marine Watch group, or starting one in your area, please contact your local zone commander (as outlined on the Marine Watch website) or the Marine Crime Prevention Officer on 1800 658 784.
