Frequently Asked Questions1. Who participates?
Participants must be recognised NSW community leaders.

2. How many community leaders participate on each CAPP?
Approximately 20 leaders participate on each CAPP.

3. How often are CAPPs conducted?
Three CAPPs are conducted per annum,

4. What does is cost to participate in the CAPP?

CAPP is a free program. Participants are required to make there own way too and from central Sydney each week.
Meals are provided.

5. What if I am a community leader from a rural location?
Costs should be bourne by selected participants, but in some circumstances NSWPF may be able to assist with transport and / or accommodation for those selected from rural locations.

6. Will this program assist me to join the NSW police?
This program does not have a police recruitment focus.

7. Are there any other CAPP joining requirements?
Selected participants must consent to a criminal history check, and also complete a joining package within the prescribed time frames. Participants are also required to be available to attend each of the program sessions.

8. How long does each CAPP run for?
CAPP program structures vary from three full day time sessions, to a one night a week over several weeks. Participants can indicate their preference on the nomination form

9. I would like to apply to participate, what do I do?
Applicants must have the support of their local Police Commander and should complete the CAPP nomination form.
