Applications
Commissioner Scipione says policing is a very rewarding job but can also be difficult and testing and we need to convey this to the communities we serve.
Three CAPP sessions will run each year. Participants can be nominated by any NSW Police Force commander or equivalent.
To be selected a participant must be a recognised leader in their respective community. For example, business, civic, cultural, media, religious, and sporting participants represent some of these leaders' backgrounds.
Members of the public can also self nominate by using the nomination form.
Things nominess need to know

This is a FREE program.

Nominees must be 18 years or older.

The nominee must reside within NSW.

All nominations are considered however space is limited to approximately 60 NSW community participants per year.

If demand exceeds availability, participants will be selected to fairly represent the best possible diversity of NSW communities.

All submitted nominations will be forwarded to a NSW Police Force Commander for consideration prior to being progressed.

Only selected nominees will be contacted.

Requirements of participation in the program include consent to a criminal history check and completion of an additional application package which will be provided.
