Pistol Permit
This permit is for persons who are engaged in primary production and can demonstrate, through medical evidence, that they are unable to use a rifle or shotgun in the course of these activities due to a medical condition or disability. Section 28(g) of the Firearms Act 1996 relates.
Application
Each Pistol Permit application must contain:
1. A completed firearms permit application form - FORM P634 - Application for a Firearms Permit (PDF)
2. A legitimate reason form with supporting documentation - FORM - Pistol Permit Legitimate Reason (PDF)
