Firearms Instructor
This permit is for persons wishing to become a firearms instructor and authorises the permit holder to possess firearms to instruct and accredit Security Guards and employees of government agencies in the use of firearms. Section 28(g) - Firearms Act 1996 & Clause 122 - Firearms Regulation 2006 relates.
Application
Each Firearms Instructor Permit application must contain:
1. A completed firearms permit application form - FORM P634 - Application for a Firearms Permit (PDF)
2. A legitimate reason form with supporting documentation - FORM - Firearms Instructor Legitimate Reason (PDF)
